Raised in Montreal and now based in Toronto, Melissa Verge’s work reflects an eclectic and whimsical world. A graduate of Sheridan College’s Interpretive Illustration program, Melissa also holds a degree from the university of Toronto in Art and Art History. A keen understanding of art history and literature shape her work and create a rich base for all future endeavors. This fusion of artistic influences both contemporary and historical, fine and commercial are why Melissa makes work that plays with the balance between concept and decoration.
